All Dreaming All Feeling 12x18 hand carved 2026 calendars, 2026
Created for Palm Springs Art Museum January Family + event. People and their families were encouraged to create a vision board of their year with these calendars as the base. Roughly 30+ hours went into carving the linocut for these. Made with cyanotype block print ink on specialty papers from McManus & Morgan located across the way from MacArthur Park, Los Angeles. McManus & Morgan is Los Angeles' oldest art supply store. Shoutout to Gary the goat, he hand pressed the papers to cut them to size for this project and still operates the store.

No Cages, 4x6 block prints, 2025
Made in protection of people being targeted by raids which hit Los Angeles hard. Funds were redistributed to anonymous street vendors in cash, in person. ICE is simply a manifestation of domestic terrorism and border cruelty in the U.S.'s dying last breaths to assert itself as a violent colonial fantasy and one that sells human beings to prisons. My dad used to send me cards from prison with Tweety on them, him and my mom nicknamed me that like so many Latine people growing up in LA in the 90s. Later, he was stolen off of his porch drinking coffee by cops accusing him of something he did not do in Arizona. All because a white neighbor didn't like him. No border can take the love we have for each other. No wall built can destroy our cultures, bonds, our right to live here where many of us are from. My faith remains in that the border will fall, it was never real, and all displaced people will continue to heal one another, as we always have carried one another.
No Prisons, No borders.

Palestina Libre, 5x7, 2023 in collaboration with Palabras Bilingual Bookstore in Phoenix, Arizona.
Over $2,000 were raised through sales of these hand carved prints. Funds were used to distribute free copies of These Olive Trees by Aya Ghanameh to educate communities on the struggle & the beautiful culture of Palestinians. The remaining funds were donated to help rescue families from the ongoing genocide currently occuring in Palestine.
La Virgen has long been a symbol used of resistance against oppression.
I made it thinking about how Palestinians are Indigenous to their land because they take care of it and their bonds to the olive trees. This is made with two block prints, one mimicking traditional Palestinian design and the interior featuring olives, roses, doves, stars, and four cuetlaxochitl flowers. The banner reads "Liberation" in Arabic. I chose These Olive Trees to distribute with the proceeds because I believe we should show our solidarity with Palestinians by protecting and sharing their stories in our communities. We will preserve Palestinian stories and Palestine will be free.
